Bio:

Pavel joined the Allen Institute in 2019 as part of the Neural Coding team to enhance the Open Ephys GUI and facilitate experiments leveraging next generation Neuropixels probes. As part of Neural Dynamics, he is refining the GUI for Neuropixels Opto, cutting-edge active silicon probes capable of concurrent stimulation and recording of single unit activity across dozens of cortical and subcortical structures simultaneously. Pavel brings expertise in biosensor development, signal processing and human-computer interaction from UW Bioengineering and Microsoft Research. Pavel earned his MS in Computer Science and BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering with College Honors from the University of Washington.
