These guidelines outline the Allen Institute’s commitment to ethical donor engagement, transparency, and responsible stewardship. They clarify what donors can expect and how the Institute ensures all contributions are handled with integrity, in alignment with legal standards and internal policies.
As a recipient of grant awards from the federal government, the Allen Institute is subject to the pending national security directive (NSPM-33) issued by the White House.

The purpose of the Allen Institute Investigator Financial Conflict of Interest (FCOI) Policy is to affirm the Allen Institute’s commitment to promoting the highest level of integrity and objectivity in research, to protect the Institute’s business interests, and to comply with applicable laws and regulations.
