Bio:
Rusty Mann is a Sr. Research Associate in the Electrophysiology department helping to develop the Patch-Seq pipeline for in vitro single cell characterization of mouse and human cortical neurons. Rusty earned a B.S. in Biochemistry and a minor in Psychology from Central Washington University (2010). During that time, he served as an undergraduate research assistant in a solid-state materials lab studying surface loss in nanoscale Y2O3:Eu3+ and in a psychopharmacology lab studying response to acute administration of fluoxetine in adult mice after chronic administration, followed by washout during the adolescent period.
