This in-person workshop at the Allen Institute in Seattle, Washington is designed for sophomore through senior undergraduate students who are studying biology, neuroscience, and/or another life science field. There is no cost to attend this workshop, and lunch will be provided to attendees. 

  • Learn about the Allen Institute and our research 
  • Be the first to pilot test and share feedback on new lessons from the Allen Institute exploring neuron structure and the cell types of the brain 
  • Learn about internships, postbaccalaureate positions, and early career opportunities at the Allen Institute 
  • Meet Allen Institute neuroscientists and learn about their career paths 

Attendee Eligibility

We will accept the first 25 eligible participants who register for this workshop. When you register, we will review your information and will contact you to confirm your participation once we have verified your eligibility. 

      • Current sophomore, junior, or senior undergraduate student who has completed or is currently enrolled in a neuroscience course 
      • Able to attend this workshop in-person at the Allen Institute in Seattle, WA 
      • At least 18 years old
