“We are thrilled to welcome Chris to the Allen Institute team,” said Rui Costa, President and CEO. “He is a proven leader and creative thinker whose belief in our mission to make a broad, transformational impact on science will be invaluable to helping us execute that mission.”
Beaudoin holds a Bachelor of Science in biology from Western Washington University and an MBA from Seattle University. Prior to his time at Swedish, Beaudoin spent a decade with Providence Health & Services working first in pharmacy services and operations, and later as part of the corporate business development team focused on partner integration. He also served as Chief Transition Officer for the $20 billion merger between Providence Health & Services and St. Joseph Health in 2017.
“I’ve long admired the Allen Institute,” said Beaudoin. “Its work to make a lasting global impact on science and humankind is a noble cause. That work is made possible by teams of people working together with a shared vision and purpose. The energy and passion of the people at the Allen Institute is palpable, and I’m incredibly excited to join the team.”
Outside of work, Chris enjoys hiking, reading, and spending time with his family. A former college varsity soccer player, he also volunteers as a youth soccer coach.
