Bio:

Will is a research associate with the Human Cell Types group at the Allen Institute. Will graduated from Yale University in 2022 with a B.S. in Molecular, Cellular, & Developmental Biology. During his time at Yale, Will worked under Stephen Strittmatter’s in the Cellular Neuroscience, Neurodegeneration and Repair program. He was involved in a project investigating the potential rescue of Alzheimer’s Disease pathology in mice by modulating synaptic tagging for microglial pruning. He also researched the role of prion protein in a double knock-in mouse model with endogenous expression of the Mapt and App genes. Will also conducted clinical research during his undergraduate time, focusing on the relationship between price and quality of hospital provided procedures.
