Attend our Satellite Workshops
Exploring the Allen Cell Types Database: Cellular Diversity in Mouse and Human Cortex
The Allen Institute for Brain Science will host a workshop on the Allen Cell Types Database. An overview of transcriptomic and morpho-electric cell type diversity in mouse and human cortex will be followed by a demonstration of navigating the Allen Cell Types Database to access data and tools from this open science resource. A hands-on tutorial using transcriptomic data clustering and visualization tools will be led by Allen Institute scientists.

Exploring the Allen Brain Observatory: An Open Database of Cortical Cell Physiology
The Allen Institute for Brain Science presents a workshop to explore the Allen Brain Observatory, featuring physiological response data from 60,000+ neurons covering multiple cell types, lamina, and regions of the mouse visual cortex. The workshop includes scientific presentations and a tutorial leading participants through accessing and analyzing data in this open science resource, to gain insight into sensory coding in the cortex.
