Integrate our open science resources into your undergraduate neuroscience courses

This interactive event will bring together educators interested in integrating Allen Institute open science resources into their undergraduate neuroscience courses.

The program features hands-on pedagogy workshops led by faculty from the 2025-2026 Developing Open Neuroscience Teaching Tools Community of Practice. Over the past year, these faculty have collaborated to develop activities, modules, and courses that integrate Allen Institute open neuroscience resources. You can preview the content of these resources at high-level mini-symposia they will present during the 2026 FUN Summer Workshop (July 15-19, 2026).

This separate post-conference 1-day workshop gives attendees the opportunity to try these activities first-hand, ask in-depth questions, offer feedback, and explore opportunities to collaborate on further development, implementation, and/or evaluation of the activities in broader educational contexts.

This event was developed in collaboration with FUN (Faculty for Undergraduate Neuroscience). It is free to participants, and snacks and lunch will be provided.
