Overview

In this video, you’ll explore how to download images and segmentations. If you’re interested in analyzing raw imagery with segmentations—for example, creating a detector for a specific organelle or performing image processing—you might want to download these from the source. You’ll be introduced to some tools for this purpose including Cloudvolume and Imageryclient

MIcRONS Explorer

The MICrONS Explorer contains large-scale electron microscopy reconstructions of cortical circuitry of the mouse visual cortex and corresponding functional imaging data from the same neurons. The Explorer is an ambitious program to map the function and connectivity of cortical circuits, using high throughput imaging technologies, with the goal of providing insights into the computational principles that underlie cortical function in order to advance the next generation of machine learning algorithms.
