Bio:

Wei joined the Experimental Immunology team at the Allen Institute in December 2020. Prior to the Institute, Wei worked at Arbele, a biotechnology startup, focusing on the research and development of CAR-T cell therapy and bi-specific antibody immunotherapy for solid tumors. Wei received her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Washington.

At the Allen Institute for Immunology, Wei is actively working with other scientists to explore the human monocyte populations to further understand the relationship of monocytes and the development of myeloma bone disease. Additionally, by bringing in her previous experience on protein characterization, cell culture and molecular biology techniques, Wei continues to facilitate the research work in the lab under great teamwork.
