Associate Scientific Project & Alliance Manager

Bio:

Tamara (Tamie) joined the Allen Institute for Neural Dynamics in 2022 as an Associate Scientific Project and Alliance Manager. In 2015, she completed a postbaccalaureate fellowship at the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA), where she studied neural circuits underlying anxiety and addiction. Subsequently, Tamie obtained her Ph.D. in Pharmacology at Columbia University, where her research focused on how exposure to alcohol and monoaminergic drugs during adolescence alters motivated behaviors and associated neural activity in adulthood.

Prior to joining Allen, she worked in life science commercialization for Columbia’s technology transfer office as a project and alliance manager, performing licensing research as well as providing strategic support to investigators developing their innovations.
