Bio:

Tamara joined the Allen Institute in 2014, working on the Tissue Processing team. She is responsible for producing acute slices of both mouse and human tissue suitable for electrophysiology, as well as transcriptional profiling for regions of interest that are micro dissected and sorted to isolate single cells or nuclei. She also helps with daily lab supervision. Prior to joining the Institute, Tamara earned her B.S. in Biology and French from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She later worked in an immunology lab at National Jewish Health in Denver, Colorado.
