Bio:

Saurabh joined the Allen Institute for Cell Science in 2022 as a Scientist on the Animated Cell team. He received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Engineering Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and completed his Ph.D. in Physics with the Koslover group at the University of California San Diego. Saurabh's previous research involved leveraging experimental data to develop computational and theoretical models of intracellular transport, cell membranes, bacterial cell division, and dynamin-induced vesicle scission. Saurabh enjoys working at the interface of Physics and Biology to shed light on how cells organize themselves and how this organization impacts biological function.
