Bio:

Sam Seid joined the Institute in 2017 as a member of the Optical Physiology team, performing in vivo 2-photon microscopy in behaving mice. Before coming to the Institute, Sam worked as a Laboratory Technician in a microbiology quality control lab for food and water samples. Sam attended Western Washington University, graduating in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Neuroscience. During this time, Sam assisted in Jackie Rose’s research lab studying synaptic plasticity in C.elegans.
