Bio:
Rachel joined the Allen Institute in 2023 as a Research Associate within the Allen Institute for Neural Dynamics. Her work focuses on understanding cell types using fluorescent in situ hybridization and tissue expansion techniques. She graduated from William and Mary with a B.S. in Biology and Kinesiology. Her undergraduate research team utilized immunofluorescence staining to investigate the effects of disuse on the neuromuscular junction.
