Bio:

Nina is currently a research associate with Immunology, working in the Spatial Biology team as well as supporting lab work and function in the Lab Operations team. Having gone to Whitman College for a Bachelor of Arts in Biology, she went on to work as an animal technician at the Fred Hutch Cancer Research Center, before moving on to wildlife disease field work at Colorado Parks and Wildlife. Initially focused on a veterinary career, she came to love the Allen Institute’s mission while working in the Laboratory Equipment Support team, so after a brief period as a histotechnician in veterinary pathology, rejoined the Institute with the Immunology department.
