Postbaccalaureate Research Assistant

Bio:

Marshall joined the Allen Institute’s Electrophysiology team in 2022 as one of the organization’s first Postbaccalaureate Researchers. He is also a Certified Phlebotomist and has 250+ hours of researching Prostate cancer under Dr. Handy at Morehouse College. At Morehouse College, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology, with Latin honors Magna Cum Laude, and was a member of several organizations including Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society, and Nu Rho Psi National Honor Society in Neuroscience. Giving back to the community through his brotherhood, scholarship, and service-driven Fraternity is a huge driving force in his choice of career path, and he believes that joining the Allen Institute Postbaccalaureate Program will help guide him and others interested in neuroscience research toward being able to grasp their aspirations.
