Solving the mysteries of bioscience
We are an independent nonprofit bioscience research institute aimed at unlocking the mysteries of human biology through foundational science.
Foundational Science Fuels Breakthroughs
We are leaders in large-scale research that transforms our understanding of human health and disease and shapes how science is conducted worldwide.
Inspiring Next-Generation Scientists
To us, open science extends to inspiring the next generation of scientists by supporting access to science resources, research, and experiences.
Bio:
Lynne Becker is an Associate Director with the Allen Institute for Immunology where she provides scientific program management oversight and is responsible for supporting partner alliances within this division of the Institute. Lynne joined the Allen Institute in 2014 as a Senior Scientific Program Manager with the Institute for Brain Science. In that role, she managed several large externally funded grants comprised of multiple external collaborators.
Before joining the Allen Institute, Lynne held project management positions in biopharma, research and healthcare environments. Following a postdoctoral fellowship, she joined the Molecular Profiling Program Management team at Rosetta Inpharmatics supporting Merck’s Oncology Franchise. At Covance Genomics Laboratory, Lynne served as a Functional PM Lead responsible for managing cross-functional teams to successfully plan and complete client projects, ranging from pre-clinical discovery to Phase III clinical trials across diverse therapeutic areas. While at the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance, Lynne managed all aspects of a large Laboratory Information Management System implementation in an FDA regulated clinical laboratory.
