Bio:
Lara Scaria is a graduate of Brandeis University where she studied Neuroscience and Computer Science. As an undergraduate, she worked with Dr. Eve Marder studying small circuit dynamics and motor systems in crustaceans. During the summer of 2023, she interned in Dr. Alexandra Nelson’s Lab at the University of California, San Francisco studying the role of striatal-lateral inhibition in levodopa induced dyskinesia. Lara is part of the Neurobiology of Action group as a Research Associate I working on neural circuits of motor and peripheral organ control.
