Bio:

Kristen Niekamp is a Bioinformatics Analyst working with the Stem Cell Gene Editing team for the Institute for Cell Science. Her work focuses on transcriptomic analyses and multimodal analysis of cellular data to answer questions about cell organization, behavior, and fate. Prior to joining the Allen Institute, Kristen worked in various laboratory roles ranging from molecular biology to biopharmaceutical process sciences. Kristen graduated with her B.S. in Genetics from Texas A&M University in December 2019 and an M.S. in Bioinformatics from Johns Hopkins University in December 2022.
