Julian Reading

Senior Manager, Flow Cytometry & Proteomics

teams /
Allenite

Julian Reading is a Research Immunologist and FACS specialist with broad industrial experience in cellular immunology, inflammation and oncology. A recent graduate of the Drabic immunology lab (at first MedImmune then Gilead Sciences), he served as FACS and immunology specialist on multiple project teams expediting small molecules and biologics within immuno-oncology and auto-immune disease projects from research to clinical candidates. Julian moved to the United States from England in 1990, to manage a central immune function laboratory in support of NCI BRMP human clinical trials. FACS became a central function with Genetic Therapy Inc. establishing FACS protocols for dendritic cell gene cancer antigen therapy followed by 15 years of stem cell-based cell sorting and clinical immunoassay R&D with WellStat. Julian received his BSc Hons degree in Applied Biology from NESCOT, Ewell, England in 1990 and holds patents in anti-inflammatory/anti-fungal drug discovery, the identification of novel stem cell populations and has immunology, flow cytometry and molecular biology-based publications.
