Bio:

Jo joined the Allen Institute in 2023, as a program manager on the Global Partnerships & Philanthropy team. She is responsible for community building and creating opportunities for Allen Institute alumni to stay connected to the organization and its work. Previously, Jo spent 10 years working on social impact initiatives to increase access to education and in-demand skills, at the University of Washington and as part of Amazon’s global philanthropy team. Originally from the U.K., Jo received her B.A. in Business Management from the University of Sunderland. She moved to Seattle with her family in 2004, and two decades later, stays connected to home via a daily dose of BBC Radio 2.
