Bio:
Jinho joined the Allen Institute in 2022 as a scientist to study the role of different types of neurons in multiple forms of learning. Prior to joining the Allen Institute, he was a postdoctoral researcher in Hires Lab at the University of Southern California, where he studied the neural and behavioral basis of active tactile shape perception and learning using the mouse whisker system. During his Ph.D. studies at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, he investigated the hemodynamic response to somatosensory stimuli in Alzheimer’s disease mouse models.
