Bio:
Jimin is a research associate with the Research Operations team at the Allen Institute for Neural Dynamics. She generates two-photon microscopy data and intrinsic signal imaging data that are used to test models of cortical computation during learning and behavior. Jimin earned a B.S in Neuroscience with departmental honors from the University of Washington, Seattle in 2024. Before joining the Allen Institute in the Summer of 2024, Jimin was an undergraduate researcher at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center for two years, where she investigated the timeline of breast tumor metastasis and cell growth dynamics of invasion leader cells.
