Bio:
Jessica joined the Institute in 2020 and currently works in the Tissue Processing team as a Research Associate. She graduated from the University of Washington in December 2019 with a B.S. in Neuroscience. Her research experience started in the Smith Lab at the University of Colorado studying plant biology. At the University of Washington, she moved away from plants and started neuroscience work in the Dhaka Lab. Here, she studied nociception and the ways in which sensory stimuli are coded in the peripheral nervous system.
