Bio:
Jenna graduated from Oregon State University, majoring in Chemistry (B.S.) and Materials Science (M.S.) where the focus of her research was nanocellulose as an anode source in sodium ion batteries. She previously worked at FEI (now ThermoFisher Scientific) doing research and development with Correlative Light & Electron Microscopy (CLEM) – specifically iPALM, and tissue processing. She joined the Synapse Biology team at the Institute in January 2017, working with Stephen J Smith on Array Tomography. Jenna now works on the EM Connectomics team, focusing on tissue processing, sectioning, imaging, and scaling all of this up to whole mouse brain.
