Bio:
Han joined the Allen Institute for Neural Dynamics in 2022 as a Scientist. He uses a combination of behavioral modeling, large-scale electrophysiological recording, and computation to study mesoscale neural mechanisms underlying flexible behaviors in mice. Prior to joining the Allen Institute, he was a postdoctoral fellow with Dr. Karel Svoboda and Dr. Nuo Li at the Janelia Research Campus and Baylor College of Medicine. He completed his Ph.D. training in the laboratory of Dr. Yong Gu at the Institute of Neuroscience, Shanghai, where he studied the neural basis of optimal multisensory decision making in macaque monkeys. Han holds a BS in Mathematics and Physics from Tsinghua University, Beijing.
