Bio:

Cynthia is a Postbaccalaureate researcher at the Allen Institute working on using explainable AI to investigate the algorithms that drive decision making under uncertainty. She graduated from Rutgers University with degrees in Computer Science and Cognitive Science, and is interested in the how our brain interprets and interacts with the world. Previously, Cynthia was involved in a computational neuroscience lab at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs that used machine learning to decode brain waves for use with Brain Computer Interfaces.
