Bio:
Carliana is part of the Transgenic Colony Management team. Before joining the Institute, she worked first as an undergraduate research assistant at the Mitochondria and Metabolism Center at the University of Washington focusing on cardiac metabolism and obesity, and then in human services for a year, helping people with developmental disabilities to find employment in the community. Carliana graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology from University of Washington.
