Amy Helsel

Events Specialist II

Bio:

With over 15 years of diverse event management and operations experience, Amy joined the Allen Institute Events Team in September 2024 as an Event Specialist II. Throughout her career, she has successfully organized a wide range of events, including large-scale street festivals, educational groups, intimate private celebrations, and high-profile events for celebrity clientele, as well as corporate conferences and meetings.

Passionate about creating impactful experiences, Amy is thrilled to return to the non-profit sector, where she can contribute to mission-driven causes that make a difference in the community. Her extensive background in event planning, attention to detail, and dedication to delivering exceptional results ensure that each event is not only memorable but also aligns with the values and objectives of the organizations they serve.

Outside of her professional life, Amy enjoys spending time with her two-year-old German Shepard-Aussie mix puppy, reading and wineing with friends, and paddle boarding, which reflects her love for both activity and relaxation.
