Bio:
Alvin is currently a Research Associate I with the Histology department at Allen Institute. He received his B.S. in Biology from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Prior to joining, he worked as an Undergraduate Researcher in the Sears Lab at UCLA, studying forelimb development and morphological variation in bats, mice, and opossums. Additionally, he spent some time studying immunological mechanisms of Leigh Syndrome with the Morgan/Sedensky Lab at Seattle Children’s Research Institute.
