Bio:

Agata joined the Allen Institute as an analyst on the electrophysiology core team in 2016. Here, she performs primary analysis of raw electrophysiology data, develops tools for data reporting and visualization and contributes to optimization of experimental methods. Agata received a B.S. in Neuroscience from Brown University and a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the University of Washington. Her thesis work in David Perkel’s lab focused on characterizing neurons in a brain region important for song and social behavior in songbirds with in vitro whole-cell and extracellular recordings and confocal microscopy.
