Solving the mysteries of bioscience
We are an independent nonprofit bioscience research institute aimed at unlocking the mysteries of human biology through foundational science.
Foundational Science Fuels Breakthroughs
We are leaders in large-scale research that transforms our understanding of human health and disease and shapes how science is conducted worldwide.
Inspiring Next-Generation Scientists
To us, open science extends to inspiring the next generation of scientists by supporting access to science resources, research, and experiences.
The Annual HMBA Consortium Meeting will be hosted at the Allen Institute April 3–4, 2023. The HMBA consortium is a collaborative effort striving to create the most detailed map of the human brain ever produced, linking cellular and molecular phenotypes to brain imaging and functional architecture. The purpose of this meeting is to come together to engage in informative presentations and meaningful discussions concerning the aims of the grant.
This is a private, invite only meeting. Registration is required.
An invite-only “Product Retreat” pre-meeting will be held in-person on Sunday, April 2 with a smaller number of attendees. If your attendance is requested, you will receive an additional invitation. Please contact Lauren Kruse with any questions.
Getting to the Meeting
HMBA will be held at the Allen Institute, a 270,000-square-foot life sciences building, located in South Lake Union neighborhood of Seattle. The building is purpose-built for life science research and facilitates our trademark team science approach amid abundant natural light and with stunning views of Seattle.
Upon arrival at the Allen Institute, check in at the registration desk each day located in the lobby and you will be directed to the meeting. Please wear your name badge for the duration of the meeting.
