venue details
The conference will be held at the Hyatt Regency Lake Washington hotel in Renton, WA. The hotel is a convenient 10 minutes from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport and just 20 minutes from downtown Seattle. The hotel can be reached by public transport, taxis, sea plane and kayak!
We have reserved a block of rooms for attendees at the conference hotel. To receive the discounted rate, reserve your room here by Friday, September 18. These rooms may be booked on a first-come, first-served basis.
Check-in to the hotel begins at 4:00pm each day.
The event will take place on the 3rd floor of the hotel. All talks will be held in the Lake Washington Ballroom. All meals except the welcome reception and the cruise lunch will be held in the Bellevue Rooms.
allen Institute visit/
On Wednesday, October 29, conference attendees will take a cruise directly from the Hyatt Regency hotel to visit the Allen Institute. Alternate ground transportation will be provided to the Institute, and we will take ground transportation back to the hotel. Please note that lunch will be served on the boat to the Institute. If you opt out of taking the boat alternate lunch will not be provided. Children under 18 are not allowed to visit the Allen Institute and will not be allowed on the boat.
poster presentations/
- Poster sessions will take place after talks on October 26 and October 27
- Presenters are assigned a presentation day according to last name with A-K presenting on Monday October 26 and L-Z presenting on Tuesday October 27, unless you have contacted us for an exception.
- Posters will not be assigned poster numbers or locations. Easels, 40″x60″ poster boards, and clips will be provided. Poster boards can be turned in either landscape or portrait orientation.
- Poster printing services will not be available onsite. Please plan to bring your printed poster with you to Seattle.

Registration applies to the invited attendee only. No guests or spouses are allowed at the Institute visit, Lake Cruise, or Conference

- We are striving to make this event as safe as possible. If you do not feel well, please do not attend the conference.
