Event Location 

The conference will take place at the Hyatt Regency Lake Washington hotel in Renton, WA. Located on the south shores of Lake Washington, the Hyatt Regency combines modern meeting spaces and guest rooms with unparalleled access to the beauty of the Pacific Northwest.

The hotel is a convenient 10-minutes from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport and just 20-minutes from downtown Seattle. The hotel can be reached by public transport, taxis, sea plane, and kayak!

• Attendees are responsible for all travel expenses to and from the meeting.
• Food and beverages will be provided during the event.
• From the Sea-Tac Airport there are many options for getting to the Hyatt Regency, including taxis, Uber/Lyft app-based ride shares, or Shuttle Express

Allen Institute Visit

On Tuesday, June 25, we will take ground transportation to visit the Allen Institute. Please meet in the front lobby of the hotel at 1:45pm to board the shuttles. All attendees will be shuttled to the Allen Institute, and shuttles will be available back to the Hyatt Regency for those not boarding the Lake Cruise.

If you are taking the shuttle back, dinner will not be provided at the hotel and we recommend making a reservation at the onsite restaurant, The Waters Table. 

Poster Session Participants

If you are participating in the Poster Session at the Allen Institute, please note the following: 

• Drop your posters at EOD Monday, June 24 at Registration to be transported to the Allen Institute.
• You will be responsible for bringing your poster from the Allen Institute back to the Hyatt.

Community Announcements

On the final day of the symposium, Wednesday, June 26, you will have the opportunity to share announcements with the awardee community. This will be 1-2 minutes to highlight items like: an upcoming event, an open job posting, or a call for community action. 

A sign up will be available at the event, so please think about any items you would like to share.

Dependent Care

The Allen Institute offers a Dependent Care Stipend program to address inclusivity for all by reducing financial barriers for event attendance. As an invited attendee to the Allen Frontiers Symposium, you are eligible to apply for a dependent care stipend.
