Bio:

Mikayla joined the Allen Institute of Neural Dynamics as a Research Associate I in 2023. She is currently involved in the collection of in vivo Neuropixels electrophysiology data for the OpenScope program. In spring 2023, Mikayla graduated from St. Olaf college in Northfield, MN with a neuroscience concentration alongside BA degrees in Biology and Music. In college she conducted behavioral and electrophysiology experiments on an acoustic parasitoid fly. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking and baking, spending time outside, swimming, and practicing the clarinet.
