Bio:

Amber joined the Stem Cells and Gene Editing team in the summer of 2022 as a Research Associate. In her current role, she maintains and differentiates gene-edited hiPSCs in order to study the interplay and complexities of cell organization, behavior and identity – all in the context of dynamic environments.

Amber graduated from the University of Washington, and received a B.S in Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology, and a minor in Global Health. At UW, she also worked as a research assistant at Lorenzo Giacani’s lab, studying the genetic manipulation of T. pallidum subs. pallidum.
