Bio:
Tyler joined the Institute for Cell Science as a part-time software engineer during his senior year at the University of Washington. After receiving his B.S. in Informatics, he joined the team as a full-time employee in late summer of 2018. Tyler’s work primarily focuses on developing tools and user interfaces to assist the lab scientists with data management. This requires extensive cooperation with the scientists to understand how their existing workflows may be integrated with the rest of the Institute’s data management systems, as well as to optimize those workflows to make data management quicker and more reliable.
