Bio:

Mckaila is a research associate II on the Applied Genomic team under Boaz Levi. Her primary role at Allen involves studying brain cell types and targeting them for therapeutic access using enhancer-AAV vectors that drive transgene expression in defined cell subclasses. Mckaila received a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from Western Washington University and a Master of Science in Translational Neuropathology from the University of Sheffield, England.
