Dean Hove joined the Allen Institute in 2018. As Controller, he leads all accounting functions including Research Funding, Accounting, Payroll and Purchasing. Previously, Hove was Controller for Synapse Product Development where he oversaw the accounting department, banking, audit and GAAP compliance. Prior to joining Synapse Product Development, he led accounting and finance teams at Anchor QEA, KBA and PTS. Throughout his career he has turned around departments and partnered with owners and management to drive their businesses. A native of California, Hove received his BS and MBA from the University of La Verne. He serves on the Seattle PONY baseball board of directors and coached baseball for over 8 years.
