Bio:

Lynne Becker is an Associate Director with the Allen Institute for Immunology where she provides scientific program management oversight and is responsible for supporting partner alliances. Lynne joined the Allen Institute in 2014 as a Senior Scientific Program Manager with the Institute for Brain Science, managing several large externally funded consortium grants.

Before joining the Allen Institute, Lynne held project management positions in various sectors including biopharmaceutical research, research institutes and healthcare environments. Her PM experience spans basic research, preclinical discovery, Phase III clinical trials, and implementation of a Laboratory Information Management System in an FDA regulated clinical laboratory.

Lynne received her Ph.D. from the University of Nebraska and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Washington in the Department of Laboratory Medicine where she focused on understanding the molecular mechanisms by which microbial pathogens survive host innate immunity.
