Using cutting edge technologies such as flow cytometry and single-cell RNA sequencing, scientists at the Allen Institute for Immunology – together with research partners across the country – are working to develop a consistent, standardized, and comprehensive understanding of the human immune system. This research could help accelerate the development of treatments and therapies for patients with cancer and immune-related diseases including Covid-19, rheumatoid arthritis, irritable bowl syndrome, and more.
