Bio:
Scott joined the Allen Institute for Brain Science’s Information Architecture team in November 2019 as a software engineer. Prior to joining the Institute, Scott worked as a staff scientist in the University of Washington astronomy department supporting the construction of the Vera C. Rubin Observatory. Scott earned his Ph.D. in physics from Dartmouth College in 2009, studying alternative theories of gravity as a possible explanation for the accelerated expansion of the universe.
