Research Associate II

Bio:

Diana Vedenova joined the Seattle Hub for Synthetic Biology in April 2024. Before she joined the Allen Institute she spent three years in industry working on the T-cell Therapeutics team at Sana Biotechnology. There, her main focus was producing and optimizing research grade lentiviral vectors. In 2022, she earned the HMX Fundamentals – Immunology Certificate of Achievement from Harvard Medical School’s Office of Online Learning. This achievement led her to marry her lentiviral expertise with T-cell biology, developing a novel approach to achieving dual CAR expression for which she was granted a patent. Diana received her B.Sc. from the University of Washington – Tacoma in Biomedical Science in 2016. She hopes to develop technologies and applications that will change lives through innovative research and treatments, as well as improve accessibility to patients.
