Bio:

A Wisconsin native, Emily joined the Seattle Hub for Synthetic Biology in 2024 as a Scientist I on the Write Team. She completed her doctorate at the University of Washington where she focused on CRISPR-Cas technology development, programmable gene regulation, and 3D genome structure-function interactions. She earned her B.A. in Chemistry from Ripon College in 2017.
