Will Hannon joined SeaHub in 2025 as a Scientist I on the ‘Read’ team. He completed his Ph.D. in Molecular and Cellular Biology at the University of Washington under Jesse Bloom, studying how viruses evolve using high-throughput sequencing data and computational approaches. Following his Ph.D., he remained in the Bloom lab as a Data Scientist, building open-source tools and helping lab members analyze, interpret, and share the results of high-throughput experiments and deep mutational scans of viral entry proteins.
