Tracy joined the Allen Institute in 2021 on the Transgenic Colony Management team before becoming a part of the Neurobiology of Action team in 2025. Currently, they are supporting the efforts to create a “brain-body interactome.” Prior to joining the Institute, Tracy had the opportunity to work with ambassador wolves as a wildlife educator where they provided visitors with information about the beautiful keystone species from within the wolf enclosures. They earned their BS from Georgia State University where they investigated the differential gene expression in G. daltonii when given benzene or naphthalene to support the elucidation of metabolic pathways involved in anaerobic hydrocarbon degradation.
