Teresa joined the Allen Institute's Education and Engagement Team in 2025, where she focuses on scientific outreach and trainings. She received her PhD in Pharmacology from the University of Washington. Her dissertation and postdoc work focused on the structural biology and biophysics of ion channels. Previously, Teresa has worked in communications and engagement for a graduate program as well as lead scientific community organizing groups and events.
