Bio:

Steve Hall has been a venture capital investor for over 25 years, including his current tenure at Cercano Management where he is a Venture Partner. Previously, Steve was Managing Director at Vulcan Capital where he managed investments in over 50 companies totaling more than $1.0B in combined value. He has been a board member for both the Allen Institute and the Allen Institute for Artificial Intelligence since inception and is involved with several other non-profit boards in the area of conservation. In addition to his non-profit and venture activities, Steve is also an active musician and an Emmy-winning documentary film producer.

Steve began his career as a corporate attorney with White & Case in New York, where he focused on M&A and securities transactions. Steve graduated from Furman University and received his JD from Columbia University Law School, where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar.
