Bio:

Sandy joined the Allen Institute in 2023 as a funding research specialist in the Global Partnerships and Philanthropy department. Previously, Sandy spent 10 years as a member of the University of Washington Advancement ‘s prospect development team focusing on establishing meaningful connections with partners and prospects of the University. Prior to UW, Sandy worked as a medical and scientific library consultant, mainly to local start-up medical device companies. Her initial career was in IT administration and she is a current board member of Gig Harbor Now, a local nonprofit news source. Sandy received her B.A. from Washington State University and her MLIS from the University of Washington.
